She is named Kecharitomene, by the angel Gabriel. Name change means something;
Peter-the Rock. Abraham-Father of Nations
Verb -Perfect Passive Participle -Vocative Singular Feminine
For Stephen was full of grace in the present tense.
[Pleres charistos] Acts 6:8And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles
among the people.
But the term used to name Mary is
KecharitomeneFull of Grace
the perfect passive participle of "charitoo." charitoo (verb) comes from
the same Greek root of “charis” - which means “grace” and charitoó means
to fill or endow with grace or in other words,
"Hail, one who has been full of grace." Endued with grace, perfectly, in the past, according to the angel Gabriel,
Mary was already filled with grace and there is no room for sin in her
before the Annunciation, the implication being that she was immaculate.
What is grace? Biblically defined?
Does it protect us from sin?
Romans 6:14 ,
For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the
law, but under grace.
Titus 2:11-13
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should
live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking
for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and
our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Is grace a gift from God?
Eph 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
2 Tim 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according
to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was
given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
Does grace give one the power from God to perform miracles and signs?
Acts 6:8And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles
among the people.
Mother of God
Luke 1:43

The Assumption
Revelation 12:6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God,
Church Fathers declare the assumption in detail...
" It was fitting ... that the most holy-body of Mary, God-bearing
body, receptacle of God, divinised, incorruptible, illuminated by divine
grace and full glory ... should be entrusted to the earth for a little
while and raised up to heaven in glory, with her soul pleasing to
God" (Homily on the Assumption [ca. A.D. 600]).7
-Theoteknos of Livias
"The Apostles took up her body on a bier and placed it in a tomb; and
they guarded it, expecting the Lord to come. And behold, again the Lord
stood by them; and the holy body having been received, He commanded that
it be taken in a cloud into paradise: where now, rejoined to the soul,
[Mary] rejoices with the Lord's chosen ones."
Eight Books of
Miracles 1:4 [A.D. 575].
-Gregory of Tours
"The Lord said to his Mother, "Let your heart rejoice and be glad.
For every favor and every gift has been given to you from my Father in
heaven and from me and from the Holy Spirit. Every soul that calls upon
your name shall not be ashamed, but shall find mercy and comfort and
support and confidence, both in the world that now is and in that which is
to come, in the presence of my Father in the heavens". . . And from that
time forth all knew that the spotless and precious body had been
transferred to paradise " (The Dormition of Mary [A.D. 400]).
-John the Theologian
"Therefore the Virgin is immortal to this day, seeing that he who had
dwelt in her transported her to the regions of her assumption "
(Homily on Simeon and Anna [A.D. 400]).
-Timothy of Jerusalem
" If therefore it might come to pass by the power of your grace, it
has appeared right to us your servants that, as you, having overcome
death, do reign in glory, so you should raise up the body of your Mother
and take her with you, rejoicing, into heaven. Then said the Savior
[Jesus]: Be it done according to your will." (The Passing of the
Virgin 16:2-17 [A.D. 300]).

When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by,
whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son. Then
saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that
disciple took her unto his own home.
Woman is derogatory? She is called by Christ as the woman. Call back to
Genesis
John 2:4
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is
not yet come.
Mary shall be praised
Proverbs 31:30
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the
Lord, she shall be praised.
Romans 3:10
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
declares "not one is righteous." "All have sinned." Contextual Paul is
speaking of no distinction between Jews and non-Jews.
Romans 3:9
What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before
proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
is quoted in
Romans 3:10
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Psalm 14:5
There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the
righteous.
declares there are righteous people. Inconsistency
Romans 9:11
For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or
evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not
of works, but of him that calleth;
Paul declares babies in the womb are not capable of doing wrong (sin).
Why have few church fathers commented on her being free from stain?
The doctrine of original sin was not yet formed. As heresy of
Nestorianism, modelism, arianism is caused due to a lack of christology
affirmed in church council.
Augustine upheld that Mary was an exception to his doctrine of original
sin. Not by Mary's will, but by the Lord's grace. Aquinas makes a serious
mistake due to an Aristotelian view of conception and timing of a soul
received after fertilization.
Mary from early Protestants:
"God has formed the soul and body of the virgin Mary full of the
Holy Spirit, so that she is without all sins, for she has conceived and
borne the Lord Jesus."-Luther "God's grace fills her with everything
good and makes her devoid of all evil."
-Luther
"God poured out so richly His Holy Spirit into the soul and body of the
Virgin Mary that without any sin she conceived and bore our Lord
Jesus."
-Luther
"The veneration of Mary is inscribed in the very depths of the human
heart."-Luther "It cannot be denied that God in choosing and destining
Mary to be the Mother of His Son, granted her the highest honor."
-Calvin
"I esteem immensely the Mother of God, the ever chaste, immaculate
Virgin Mary."-Zwingli “One should honor Mary as she herself wished and
as she expressed in the magnificat. How then can we praise her? The true
honor of Mary is the honor of God. The praise of God's grace. mary does
not wish that we come to her, but through her to God."
-Luther
"Mary is the noblest gem in christianity after Christ. She is nobility,
wisdom, and holiness personified. We can never honor her
enough."
-Luther
Early church Prayer Sub Tuum Praesidium 2nd & 3rd centuries AD:
"Beneath thy protection we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God; despise not
our petitions in our needs, but from all dangers deliver us always,
Virgin Glorious and Blessed."
